1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and is accessible on this website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify us immediately. To be effective, your notification must include the following:

  • Identification of the Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the Material: A description of where the material (URL) is located on our website so that we can find it.
  • Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, and email address.

  • Accuracy Statement: A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.

2. Takedown Procedure

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing material immediately.
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed.
  • Terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Note: We do not host files on our own servers in some cases; we may index content found elsewhere. However, we will remove any links or embedded content that violates copyright upon request.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This must include:

  • Your name, address, and phone number.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.

4. Repeat Infringers

Ocean of PDF reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for piracy.
